Vibrant Corprate Worship

Worship is where we encounter the Living God.  We worship Him on Sunday mornings at 11:00 and again at 7:00 PM.

Our worship style includes traditional hymns as well as more contemporary choruses in what is called a "blended" style.

At each service, the Word of God is central to our worship as we have a sermon or in depth Bible study at both services.

Prayer is a priority at FBC and either a pastoral prayer or concerns of the church are included in each service of worship.

Secret and Family Worship

We also encourage all to spend time daily alone with God in prayer and Bible study / reading.  If you are the head of your household you should also lead your family in these spiritual disciplines as well.

Bible study For Everyone!

The Bible is the Word of God.  Through it He reveals to us Himself and His plan for our lives.  Therefore, we encourage everyone regardles of age to learn from His Word.

Sunday School and Adult Bible Study are the basic "small group" in which to study God's Word.  We meet on Sunday Mornings at 9:45 and have classes for:
  • Graded Sunday school for Children
    3-11 Years old
  • Youth 12-18
  • Adults

Discipleship, or growing as a follower of Jesus, is an ongoing process that cannot be accomplished only in Sunday school and church.  Therefore, we offer other discipling opportunities in the form of short-term classes to meet your particular needs.  These may be in other small group studies offered occasionally or individually through the Christian Growth Study Plan offered through LifeWay.

Ministry & Missions

What good would it do only to learn about Jesus and never do anything?  The word "Christian" literally means "little Christs."  We are to be His voice, hands and feet on mission doing ministry.  We can do this in three ways:
  • Pray
  • Give
  • Go

We are told by Jesus that, "you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Acts 1:8 (HCSB)

Therefore, we support missions through the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention.  By being a cooperating church we give 10% of undesignated offerings to support the Cooperative Program.  We also support special offerings for state (Baker State Mission Offering), North American missions (NAMB), international mssions (IMB)

We also have various mission opportunities in our area, state, country and world such as:

  • Disaster Relief
  • Native American Missions
  • Summer Camps
  • Vacation Bible School
  • NAMB mission trips
  • IMB mission trips

Every church member can Pray, give and yes, even GO!
